PREPARE - Sports Safety Course:
We have partnered with the National Center for Sports Safety (NCSS) to get our coaching staff sports safety educated through PREPARE, an online sports safety course as a component of our ongoing coaching curriculum. Understanding that sports safety is a vital component to a winning program, ZYSL highly recommends that all off our coaches complete the course. The club will reimburse the full registration fee for all coaches who successfully complete the course. More information on the course, including registration procedures is available here.

ZYSL coaching staff can manage various aspects of their team(s), including updating personal contact information, team news & information, reserve fields for scrimmages as well as obtain updated rosters and schedules through our interactive "Team Managment Center". 	FA level 2 Soccer Coaching Sessions A free 28 page collection of drills and key factors from the English Football Association.
	Small Sided Games Let the Game be the Teacher An electronic book by Paul Cooper explaining the reasons why we play small-sided games, the benefits to the developing player and a number of fun small-sided activities that will assist in the development of our young players.
	The Coaching Corner Contains information and resources on the basics of the sport, skills & drills, team strategies and bulletin boards as well as tips from experts and other youth team coaches.

Education/Certification
	FA Learning As the educational division of The Football Association (governing body for all of English soccer), FA Learning now has a range of online courses that all visitors to the website can take part. The online courses listed below are all live and are currently being enjoyed by thousands of learners. Psychology for Soccer Level One Fitness for Football Level One Player and Match Analysis Planning and Preparing Coaching Sessions Soccer Camp Coach Coaching Children Laws of the Game Child Protection Running a Club - Club Administration Disciplinary Soccer Star Program Soccer Parent Program - FREE On completing each course the learner will receive a certificate, all of which confirm their continued commitment to improving all aspects of their game.
	National Center for Sports Safety The National Center for Sports Safety (NCSS) was founded to promote the importance of injury prevention and safety on all levels of youth sports through education and research. The NCSS focuses on decreasing the number and/or severity of injuries through developing and teaching sports safety courses and collecting, analyzing and researching injury data.
	ICA Bronze Coaching License The International Bronze Course is directed towards coaches who are training youth players ages 5 through 9 years. This is an introductory level course, designed to improve the coaches understanding in the areas of Coaching Methodology, Team Management, Skill Development, Health and Safety and Laws of the Game. This online course, does exceed the requirements of many national schools and academies introductory certificates worldwide. This online course is FREE with membership to The ICA.
	ICA Fitness and Conditioning Course The ICA Fitness and Conditioning for Soccer Course, prepares coaches with an understanding and command of the of the latest training methods used by the top players and teams in the world. Successful completion of the course validates that a coach has the background knowledge to efficiently and safely implement a fitness and conditioning regimen for player at all levels. The curriculum of the course is comparable to a three week residential course and is the most comprehensive program of it's kind.
Coaching Organizations
	US Soccer Coaches Organization The U.S. Soccer Coaches Organization, the official coaching organization of the U.S. Soccer Federation is not just for coaches, but also for anyone interested in soccer. The educational program offered by the organization will expand your knowledge of soccer, especially the technical and tactical aspects.
	National Soccer Coaches Association of America NSCAA is the largest coaches' organization in the United States. Since its founding in 1941, it has grown to include more than 17,000 members who coach both genders at all levels of the sport. In addition to a national rankings program for colleges and high schools, NSCAA offers an extensive recognition program that presents more than 10,000 individual awards every year. It fulfills its mission of coaching education through a nationwide program of clinics and week-long courses, teaching more than 3,000 soccer coaches each year.
	US Youth Soccer's Coaching Connection The Coaches Connection provides members with a link to the US Youth Soccer Coaching Education Network: The National Director of Coaching Education and staff, plus 55 State Association Directors of Coaching Education and their staff, as well as guest lectures from around the world!
	International Coaches Association The International Coaches Association ICA is a professional organization dedicated to promoting coaching education worldwide. The ICA has thousands of members in 72 countries and is the worlds largest online Coaches Association.
