One of your players complains of feeling nauseous. This could be a sign of a heat-related illness or a possible head injury as nausea is not a normal reaction to exercise. What should you do? Would you know how to respond?

Your young athletes may be at risk if you have not received proper sports safety education. We want to help ensure that you know how to recognize and respond to various situations like this that you may face on the playing field. To this end, we have partnered with the National Center for Sports Safety (NCSS) to offer you the PREPARE online sports safety education course. PREPARE educates you on how to prevent common injuries, recognize symptoms of potentially dangerous conditions and respond in emergency situations as well as providing participants with valuable information that is relevant on and off the playing field.

As a Zephyrhills Youth Soccer League coach, you will receive a 10% discount off the regular $28 course fee. In addition, when you have successfully completed the course, simply submit proof of your certification to the club and ZYSL will reimburse you for the entire fee of the course.**

** To be eligilbe for reimbursements, you must be a currently registered ZYSL coaching staff and successfully complete the course. Reimbursements will be made in the amount equal to your actual cost or $28 whichever is less.

PREPARE Course Login Directions

First time Login Instructions

Go to www.SportsSafety.org and click the rotating "Click here to Start Course" box under Online Education.

Click Online Courses located on the left toolbar. This will take you to the screen to purchase the course using your coupon code.

Click Add to Cart/Basket located on the right side of the screen.

Type Zephyrhills2005 in the Enter a Coupon Code / Ambassador Code field and click Apply.

Continue the checkout process as instructed.

Once your order is complete, click My Account located on the top right side of the screen.

On the next screen, click Take Course(s) located on the left toolbar to access the course.


For Returning Users:

Go to www.Sportssafety.org and click Returning to PREPARE course?

Click Click here to return to course.

Enter your username (email address used when registering) and password.

Click My Account located on the top right of the screen.
